Kids on Bikes Columbus

Supporting Kids in the Central Ohio Region

After volunteering with the Columbus Salvation Army in December 2021, Christy Ernst was heartbroken to learn that only 10 bikes were donated for nearly 10,000 kids in need in the Columbus area. After seeing this lack of support for kids in our community, Christy took it upon herself to launch a Community Bike Drive in Columbus, calling on fellow business leaders and community members to sponsor or donate a bike for a child. This may be the only bike they receive in their lifetime. In partnership with the 411 Foundation and Trek's Westerville Location, Kids on Bikes Columbus was born!
